Sub flooring must be clean of any debris and building materials sub flooring or slab must be level within 1/8 inch in 4ft

shower walls and sub flooring have to be within 1/8 inch level top to bottom as well with sub flooring
Niche location must be cut out 1 1/2 inch larger than niche 42inches from sub flooring to bottom of niche sheetrock must be cut out to expose any plumbing, wiring, or obstruction that would prevent niche from being installed in location
